Men’s Health is the world’s most prominent magazine brand, with 40 issues in 47 countries. The magazine is headquartered in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, United States, and is published by Rodale Inc. It is also the best-selling magazine in the US. The magazine’s website, MensHealth.com, has an average of 38 million monthly visitors.
The magazine was initially launched by Mark Bricklin as a men’s health service-oriented magazine. But later developed into a lifestyle magazine for men, covering the following fields: health, fitness, nutrition, relationships, travel, technology, fashion, and finance. Bricklin, who at that time served as chief editor of Prevention magazine, appointed Mike Lafavore to be the editor of Men’s Health. Under Lafovore’s 12 years of leadership, Men’s Health has increased its circulation from 100,000 to over 1.5 million by publishing the magazine 10 times a year and expanding the Men’s Health brand in several countries, including the UK, France, Germany, Australia, and Africa. South, Mexico, and Russia. Lafavore left Men’s Health in 2000 and appointed Greg Gutfeld as his successor. But within a year, Gutfeld was replaced by David Zinczenko.
Since Men’s Health published 40 issues overseas in 47 countries, increasing the issue to 20 more, the magazine does not run advertisements for tobacco or liquor companies. This magazine also does not advertise supplements and herbal medicine products.
In 2009 under the direction of Zinczenko, editor-in-chief at the time, Men’s Health ceased to publish the Best Life it had formed in 2004. Best Life is published 10 times a year and has over 500,000. Instead, Men’s Health initiated Women’s, which is also published 10 times a year.
